I have been purchasing sod from this company for over 8 years. The sod is always in great condition, green, and healthy. The owners and crew are extremely friendly. They are always respectful and helpful when dropping the sod off. The few times I’ve paid extra to have them lay the sod down, I have always been met with outstanding service!

I have been doing business with Green Hills for more than 3 years now and they are the only sod farm I use! We work jobs from Denver to the Noco area and they are central to everything we do. Just this year we have installed their sod in Fort Collins, Platteville, Erie, Boulder and Firestone. Even if they weren’t so conveniently located, I would justify my business to them because of the great care they take in taking care of their customers. A couple examples I would mention would include an order I placed at the beginning of this year not realizing they needed a 3-4 day window because of the shortages due to last years flooding. additionally it was for a Friday, their busiest day; However, they fulfilled the order with much shorter notice than that and kept our job completion on schedule. We also had a low tire on one of our trailers once in the year and Shane plugged it for me right on the spot.
I would recommend Green Hills Sod Farm to anyone doing their own project or to any other Landscape companies looking for a great product to pass along to their customers!

My husband and I moved into a new house here in Colorado. Being from out of state, we had no idea how to go about getting a yard and taking care of it in the CO climate. We found Green Hills Sod Farm on a local google search and gave them a call. The lady that answered the phone was very helpful in answering our questions. and steering us in the right direction. We called a landscaper that they recommended in the area and we had them put in our sprinkler system. When the grass arrived (on pallets) the delivery guy was very nice and helped show us how to lay the sod properly. We were impressed with the fact that they had a gauge to measure the water we put on and a knife to cut the pieces with. We returned just recently to get a couple rolls to put in our garage for our dog to use.. Highly Recommend them. They are local and have a great little business going.

We got our back yard sodded last fall by is company. It was just a small job but they were happy to do it. It looked great when they were done and did not take them very long to lay down 2 pallets of the grass. I had a few questions after they left so I gave them a call and Megan in the office was happy to answer my questions. There is some good info on their website as well. I was just looking at it because we are going to get some more sod this spring for one of our rental properties in Loveland.

We have been amazed at how quickly our sod has rooted into our hard clay ground. From the first phone call ordering the sod, to the follow up call from Ed to find out when we were going to lay the sod, offering a special delivery time to keep the sod out of the heat. The excellent customer service lasted all the way through to the delivery driver making sure we had no questions before he left. THIS is the way you run a small business. We’re happy and thrilled with our new plush lawn.

After searching the web for a good sod company for our backyard, we decided to go with Green Hills Sod Farm. They had excellent reviews and they answered their phone.
Ed, the owner, was wonderful. Over the phone he suggested a wonderful, cost effective product and helped me determine how much I needed. They are open on delivery which is very nice. At the last minute i realized we did not have a sod cutting knife, I called Ed up and he added it to our invoice and delivered it with our sod.
Ed’s son was the delivery person. He was extremely friendly and helpful. He knew exactly where to place the pallets so that one was never in the way of us laying the sod. The sod was excellent quality and looks great in our backyard.
I highly recommend Green Hills Sod Farm.

Got our grass here earlier last summer and it looks great. best looking lawn in the neighborhood. they showed up on time and actually had a knife to cut the sod which worked great! i recommend this place to everyone.

As a landscaper with Crestone Landscape and Maintenance, I can honestly say this is the only place in Northern Colorado that I would be willing to get sod from to install in my customers yards. The sod is always in great shape and the service is fantastic. I have received nothing but compliments from tenants after the sod is installed and when my reputation is on the line I expect the best from the companies I work with. Green Hills Sod Farm has never let me down in the two years I have worked with them and I don’t see that changing anytime soon.

We’ve been using Green Hills Sod Farm for over 5 years now. The same great delivery driver remembers our twins every time he drops sod off for us. The prices are excellent and the sod is in fantastic condition. We (finally) finished our yard and while I am thrilled that days of sod laying are behind us, I am sad that we will not have much more interaction with this fine business.
